Class TapeLabelStore

java.lang.Object
fr.gouv.vitam.storage.cold.server.service.label.TapeLabelStore

public class TapeLabelStore extends Object
Holds the tape labels that the proxy stores locally instead of transferring them to INA.

A tape label is a Vitam internal artifact: it identifies the cartridge for the offer, and carries no archived content. INA has no use for it, so it never reaches the SFTP server. The proxy is therefore the only holder of that copy: the offer emits it once, at the very first write on a cartridge, and never again.

Labels are stored as files, one per cartridge, addressed by file name exactly as the SFTP transport addresses the archives it carries. The directory must sit outside the exchange directory: what transits there is deleted once transferred, on both sides, whereas a label has to outlive every mount of its cartridge.
